LeAnne Hunt has been described as a fireball of awkwardness, innuendo and casserole in that she’s twice been in a car fire and grew up in southern Illinois. She is intimate with mistakes and cream of mushroom soup.
She has a master's in English and taught at Parkland College and Austin Community College. She has worked as a freelance writer and editor, tutor, library assistant and data reviewer for an environmental lab. She misses her lab coat.
Living in Orange County, California, she is a regular at the Two Idiots Peddling Poetry reading at the Ugly Mug in Orange and is a member of the Poetry Lab in Long Beach. She is a proofreader for Moon Tide Press.
She has poems in Cultural Weekly, Spillway, Muleskinner, Variety Pack, Harpy Hybrid Review, Honey & Lime, Rabid Oak and Lullaby of Teeth: An Anthology of Southern California Poets.
